Makerspace Clubs
Junior Makerspace Clubs (Gr. 4-6)
The Jr. Makerspace Club is a six-week evening adventure where young makers get hands-on, creative, and curious. If you love building, experimenting, or trying new ideas, this is your space! Through fun group challenges and hands-on workshops, you’ll design, tinker, and create while building confidence and perseverance.

Robotics and Coding Clubs
Junior Robotics and Coding Club (Gr. 4-6)
The Jr. Robotics & Coding Club is a six-week evening adventure where students will learn coding fundamentals through fun, hands-on challenges. Explore several different introductory robots, explore the basics of programming, and collaborate with peers on interactive team projects. Perfect for beginners and budding engineers alike—no experience necessary! All materials and supplies will be provided.

Explore various robots and learn coding fundamentals through fun, interactive programming challenges and collaborate with peers on team projects.

Engineering Program
From Curiosity to Career: Engineering
Pathways on PEI (Gr 7-9)
Engineering Pathways is a six-week evening program at The Makerspace (Elt-Kisite’Tasik) where youth can dive into exciting engineering careers, how to reach them, and learn their impact on PEI. Through hands-on workshops and inspiring guest speakers, participants will explore different fields of engineering—building skills, confidence, and curiosity while discovering how they can engineer PEI’s future.
OOSTEAM PEI also offers themed after-school programs that bring hands-on STEAM learning directly to schools. Programs vary each semester, last 6-8 weeks and introduce activities designed to spark creativity and critical thinking.
