What is the Makerspace?
A hub of creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning, the STEAM PEI Makerspace (Elt-kisite’tasik) is designed for makers of all ages.
Whether you’re a toddler exploring with LEGO, a student diving into coding, or a small business bringing ideas to life with 3D printing, this space is yours to create, experiment, and discover.

How the Makerspace Works
Appointments
An appointment allows you to use any available equipment during open hours. You can book equipment online beforehand without charge, and pay for your pass once you arrive at the space.
The Makerspace is open to all ages, but youth aged 11 years old and under must be accompanied by a guardian. Parents who accompany their children to the space are not required to pay an entrance fee, unless they also use the equipment.
Custom Orders
Need something custom? We make ideas tangible. Whether it’s precision-cut signage, electronic repairs, or functional prototypes, our CNC routing, laser cutting, 3D printing, Cricut machine services help bring your vision to life.
